Private Midwife in Chester - Home Birth Client

This birth story comes from a client in Chester who had a home birth with Private Midwives and delivered a beautiful baby girl. She has shared her experience with us and the fantastic support she received from her midwives Madelaine and Jeanette.

Private midwives began by meeting the client and reassuring her of the type of service and care she would receive and to make the preparations for the home birth of her very first child.

  • My name is Martyna Grant, I've had our baby girl on Tuesday 15th Sep. Can I just say, what an amazing job Madeline has done for me (and Jeanette of course who arrived later).

    This was my 1st pregnancy and I know now that I couldn't have done it without Madeline. This woman is a true God send and some kind of a saint for sure! As a thank you to the whole Team of Private Midwifes I'm sending you a couple of pictures which you can use on your website, social media, etc. I really don't mind as you can't really see my face in them so noone will recognise me haha.

    Hopefully we can work together in the future!

Meet the midwife

Birth is a very personal and intimate event. We recognise how important it is that you meet your midwife and have a “connection” so that you can develop a trusting, professional relationship going forward. We hold regular “meet the midwife” sessions where you can come along and chat to past clients, talk to the midwives and ask questions. We also offer you a free consultation to talk through things on a more personal level and discuss your individual needs and wishes. Please contact us for further information.
