Having a new baby means that your total focus is changed and it can seem like there just aren’t enough hours in a day. Sometimes you need a little help around the home. At other times you may need a good nights sleep, a little time to recharge your batteries, or someone to care for your baby. It is important that this is someone who you know you can trust, whilst you have some “you time”.
We can offer our home maker support from our Midwifery Support Workers to help you during these times. The service includes baby sitting and light household duties. We also find that some of our mums who have a caesarean section want someone with them to care for them overnight in hospital. Again, our Midwifery Support Workers can provide this reassurance and care along side the NHS midwife.

We want to reassure you that all our midwives and those working under our PRISM scheme, are fully insured and are here to care for you, as we are aware that some 'independent midwives' no longer have clinical indemnity insurance for births.
