If you are NOT entitled to free NHS care and do not wish to use NHS facilities, you can choose a home birth option. More information on home birth can be found here here
As an international client, you are not entitled to free NHS care unless you are a UK resident. Your options are:
- To pay for complete NHS care. Prices vary but typically you should budget for £15K
- To pay for private care with a Private Hospital in London. Again prices vary but you should budget £15-£20K. There are no private maternity units outside of London.
- To pay for private care with us.
For international clients, we have a comprehensive home birth package: this includes remote antenatal support and advice before arrival, confirmation of booking and payment to support your visa application, after arrival - in person antenatal care with private blood tests, screening and scans. Birth care at home, birthing pool, gas & air, TENS machine. 4 weeks postnatal care. Neonatal NIPE paediatric examination.
This package costs £8500. You would only pay for additional NHS fees if you needed to transfer in labour.
This package does not include newborn blood spot screening or hearing test.
Alternatively, you can select one of our standard packages (Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze). Care will only commence after arrival and you may need to have a visa in place. Packages range from £5000 (Bronze) to £8500 (Platinum).
Standard packages are available for home births or to support you alongside the NHS for a hospital birth. You will need to arrange the NHS hospital and pay their fees directly.
We offer flexible payment options for you but you must pay a minimum of £1000 non-refundable deposit and the balance of payments must be paid before week 34 of pregnancy. In many cases you will need evidence that you have booked and paid in full for your care, before you travel to the UK. We are happy to provide you with documentation to support this.
Please note that taking the home birth option if you are from overseas is different to the UK home birth option as there are more steps to take to ensure you get the care and support that you need when travelling from overseas.
