Private Midwives in Peterborough, Hospital birth story

Private Midwives were contacted by Sarah who was looking for support in the birth of her child in September 2020.

The majority of mothers looking to have a hospital birth during the difficult Covid period have been worried about what may happen. Private midwives began by discussing the processes and steps that would be taken and reassuring Sarah regarding her hospital birth. Our midwife, Melanie offered care, support and advice to Sarah throughout her pregnancy.

  • Melanie is an amazing caregiver. She is so kind and attentive. She genuinely cares for her patients and their families and does her best to meet their needs if at all possible.

    I was blessed to have Melanie as my midwife through this pregnancy!! My children and I became quite used to seeing her and were sad when our visits ended.

Meet the midwife

Birth is a very personal and intimate event. We recognise how important it is that you meet your midwife and have a “connection” so that you can develop a trusting, professional relationship going forward. We hold regular “meet the midwife” sessions where you can come along and chat to past clients, talk to the midwives and ask questions. We also offer you a free consultation to talk through things on a more personal level and discuss your individual needs and wishes. Please contact us for further information.
