Yesterday Sky News published a story suggesting that the Government was failing mums to be and that pregnant women are still not receiving consistent care from a single midwife during labour.
The issue is simple – mums to be are being promised, and should be expecting personalised, individual care from a single midwife during childbirth but in the Sky survey 46% of women reported being seen by more than one midwife.
At UK Birth centres we recognise that news stories such as this can sometimes lead to anxiety and concern for mums to be so we would like to reassure all clients booked with us, that they will receive dedicated, individualised care from a known midwife, where ever and whenever they need it.
At UK Birth Centres we will always be there to support you and care for you; when-ever you need us.
If you have concerns over your pregnancy and birth plans we are happy to talk to you and discuss with you the options and care levels that you can and should expect during pregnancy and childbirth
