A recent article in the Mirror online aims to find out the truth on whether you’re legally entitled to paid time off for maternity appointments. Our recent study found that more than 1 in 4 women said their partner was unable to attend midwife appointments due to their workplaces not granting the necessary time off. The research also revealed that 25% of respondents said that their partner was unable to be involved in the pregnancy as much as they wished.
Flexible working could soon become law under a bill being brought forward in Parliament to give parents better opportunities in the workplace.
